My Favorite Things on Die Cut Divas

 Hi, and welcome back!

Today I am sharing another "Anything Goes on a card for World Card Making Day" on Die Cut Divas.

Our sponsor this month is My Favorite Things, and my card features their Chip, Chip, Hooray! clear stamp set.

I stamped the images in black archival ink, and watercolored them.  At the time I purchased this set, the matching die cut wasn't available yet, so I just hand cut and adhere to my card.

For my card front, I adhere background pattern paper, and a pink piece of card stock die cut with My Favorite Things Stitched Scallop Basic Edges Die-namics.

Happy World Card Making Day

 Happy World Card Making Day!!

Hope you're having some crafting fun today on the 2020 World Card Making Day.  There are a few things going on my craft desk, so many challenges to play and so little time!!!

Well I got my homework for Altenew Academy Cards In Motion online class for lesson 6 done.  It's a Twist Pop-up card.

I did some lose watercoloring on the front of the card so the focus is on the sentiment.  In the side I use pencil colored images from both Altenew Coffee Love and Cake Love stamp set.

World Card Making Day Project

Happy World Card Making Day!!

I know I am a little late to the party, was busy earlier in the day!  But got to spend some time in the craft room in the afternoon.  Today I am inspired by all the beautiful cards on the Simon Says Stamps Blog.  And I made a couple of Christmas cards to add to my stash.

I create a plaid pattern (on white card stock) using Hero Arts Glimmer Metallic Ink (Gold and Pewter), and Twinkling H2O Watercolors (Black Orchid), then I die cut the ornaments using Hero Arts Ornaments Infinity Dies.  I die cut the Hero Arts Holiday Greenery Edge from some neutral color card stock (I don't know the name of the color), and use a small brush to applied Gold Glimmer Metallic Ink to the greenery part.

I can't decide whether to go with red sentiment or gold embossed one, so I made one of each.  The sentiment is from an older Hero Arts set called The Joy Of Winter.

I adhere the greenery edge to a wine color card base, hang the ornaments and affixed with foam adhesive.

Here's a close up, you could the shimmers.

And now my fun fold card.  I made a "never ending" card.  I had so much fun making it, I can't wait to give it to a very special person.

To make this card, I searched the web and selected a tutorial (among many).  After I got the base card assemble, I stamp and made the various panels that go onto my card using several stamp sets.  The main one is the very adorable Hero Arts Santa Snacks Stamp and Cut set.  And facilitate adhering the small piece, I used Stick It.

Here's a short video showing it in action.

ETA:  The Flash Challenge has finished, but you could still use my code Cindy15 to get 15% off your purchases $25 or over at a2z Etsy store.
