A Toucan on Die Cut Divas

 Hello there,

I am sharing another Wet/Dry Embossing project on Die Cut Divas today.

My card features SheepSki Design's digital stamp: Tropical Image No. 239.

I printed the digital stamp on white card stock, colored in alcohol markers and coloring pencils, hand cut and adhered to the background.  For the background, I trimmed a patterned paper panel and distressed; then I adhered the gold arch die cut adorned with die cut leaves.  I added some crackle embossing paste thru a stencil.  The whole panel then is glued onto an A2 white card base.  Here's a close up of the crackle paste.

SheepSki Designs is our August challenge sponsor, the challenge winner (randomly selected) would receive 3 digital images of their choice.

That's all for now.  I'll see you in the challenge gallery.

Winter Robin on Die Cut Divas

 Happy August 1st everyone!

Welcome back to my blog.  I am sharing my projects for Die Cut Divas' August challenge:
Wet or Dry Embossing.

My rocking card features SheepSki Design's Winter Robin digital stamp.  SheepSki Designs is our sponsor this month.

The challenge winner will receive 3 digital stamps of their choice.

I printed the digital stamp on white card stock and colored in both alcohol markers and coloring pencils.  Then I die cut it with a double stitched scallop circle die.  For the card base, I die cut a round white card base, score and fold in half; then I dry embossed the front half (so the back half is flat for writing).  Then I attached the focal scallop die to the card base, applied stickles to the snow, and added die cut sentiment.

I went ahead and made a second version, but this time I colored a Red Chest Robin and I de-bossed the card base.

I hope I've inspired you to join in the challenge this month, pull out your favorite die cuts, add some wet or dry embossing to your project and have fun!!

Christmas Spy on Die Cut Divas

 Hi,

It's my turn to post on Die Cut Divas today.  My card features the playful "My Spy" digital stamp from SheepSki Designs, our June challenge sponsor.

Doesn't the image make you chuckle?  I colored the printed image with alcohol markers and coloring pencils.  I lightly stenciled the background with distress ink.  Then I hand cut partially so I could fit the wood grain pattern paper at the bottom, after that I die cut with an arch die.  Next I stamped the sentiment in black, and embellished with Christmas lights die cut.

Our June challenge theme is: Critters on Die Cut Divas.  Do come and play along.
