Coffee Journal

Hi,

To be honest, this Coffee Journal page sort of happen on it own!  LOL  I was using a blank page in my journal to soak up leftover ink when stamping.  And it sort of became a pretty mixes of colors and shapes, so I thought why not make it into a journaling page?!

Isn't it fun?!

Thanks A Latte

Happy Sunday everybody!!

With everything that's happening right now, there are lots of people I am thankful for in the big wide  world.

All the front line workers, like nurses and doctors, the EMTs, the police and firefighters, the public service people, the grocers, the delivery people and postal workers.  The list goes on but for now that's what pops into mind.

But within my little world I am thankful for all crafty people who's been so inspirational and generous.

I played Virginia's Show & Share challenge and was the lucky winner in February, I used the Concord & 9th gift card towards my purchase and got my very first turnabout stamp set.  Yay!!  And this is a card I made with it.   Thanks so much Virginia!!

Supplies:

Hero Arts Nested Tea Cup Infinity Dies
Ranger Distress Inks (Mustard Seed, Picked Raspberry, Abandoned Coral. Wild Honey)

Thanks for coming by my blog.  I wish you a bright day!

Hello Banner

Hi, welcome back to my blog.

I am playing along a challenge I've just discovered, Perfectly CAS.  This is no ordinary CAS challenge, you must only use one third of the card/area of less.

I stamped the banner first, masked it and them stamped the floral image, then the sentiment.  Next I colored with alcohol markers, and drew faux stitches on the banner.

Challenges:

Supplies:

Copic Markers (Y15,Y17,RV63,RV66,YG25,YR18)
DeSerres Tango Alcohol Markers (Y107,G515)
Memento Tuxedo Dye Ink

Thanks for stopping by.  I wish you a lovely day!

Butterfly Challenge #77

Hello everybody,

I am joining in a challenge I've just found, it's call Butterfly Challenge.  Sounds like fun right?!  For this challenge you must butterfly somewhere on your paper craft project, and play by the challenge theme.  Click Here to check the rules.

Butterfly Challenge #77 +F is for Faux and/or the colour Jasmine (Faux is for a Faux technique, and the color Jasmine is a creamy yellow, see reference Here).

I use a Faux Embossing technique on my card.

To create the faux embossing, I die cut the butterfly (Concord & 9th - Floral & Flutter Dies) multiple times and adhere to the same color card base.  To complete the card I added hand rolled flowers, and die cut leaves (Hero Arts Fancy Die - Spring Branch).  I think this card could be used for various occasion, so I would leave the sentiment until I need it.

I want to give a shout out to two of my craft friends, Barb Ghig and Karen C.   They both sent me supplies that I used on this project.  Thank you ladies!!
