Creations Scrapbook Centrale Creative Team Project 2024-Mar-17

 Hello there,

I am back to share another Spring theme card on the Creations Scrapbook Centrale FB group page.

The background panel was cut from a 8 1/2 x 11 inches watercolored mixed media paper and I splattered some Nuvo Pink Carnation Mica Mist on it.

The cute birdie was die cut from other pieces of that same watercolored paper.  I decided to use white leaves so that it compliment the watercolored background.  I also used thin strips of paper and built a nest for the glossy accented eggs.

Here's the watercolored pieces.

And the rest of the products used are shown below:

The bird die is from the 2023 Spellbinder Advent Calendar (Day 12).

I am linking up at:

(my card style is Clean and Layered)

Thanks for coming over to my blog.  Wishing you a happy day!!

 Hi,

And there it is, my first holiday card for 2024.

I found this cute little reindeer in my "treasure bin", and I thought it's perfect to play along The Card Concept #204 {Winter Warmth}.

I am inspired by the animal the and trees, and I've created this Clean and Layered shaker card.

A Jar of Sand Dollars

 Hello there,

Lately I have been playing with Elizabeth Craft Designs' Mason Jar die.  Today I share with you a shorter version of the jar, and I made it into a shaker card.

Here's a look of the flip side.

I glue two sand dollars back to back so both sides are finished.  However, the front side is clear embossed and the back side just stamped.  And for the back panel, I used the "snow" die from the Jar die set as stencil and ink blended to look like water hiting the sand (on the beach). The star fish is embossed and watercolored.

Challenges:

I am not sure how to categorize my shaker card, so I will label it as Mixed Media.  I did use ink, embossing powder and watercolors.

Supplies:

Elizabeth Craft Designs Mason Jar (Snow Globe Special)
Ranger Distress Inks (Antique Linen, Vintage Photo, Chipped Sapphire, Broken China, Tumbled Glass)
Ranger Distress Glaze (Antique Linen)
Ranger Archival Ink (Acorn)
Versamark Watermark Ink
Altenew Watercolor 36 Pan Set

Thanks for visiting.  Have a sweet day!

Happy Saturday everybody!

I think I must like the color red a whole lot more than I think I do!!  Yes, got another card done using red card stock.

For the background I used Soft Granite Shadow Ink and stamped a plaid pattern.  I am inspired by the grey siding of the house in The Card Concept Challenge #125's inspiration photo, and of course the color red and the tree to create this clean and layered card.  :)

Flowery Rain boots

Hi, welcome back to my blog!

Today I made a shaped card, and I drew my inspiration from the lovely mood board/inspiration photo of  The Heart Desires Challenge #11.  I just love those flowery rain boots.

I used a Hero Arts digital stamp to make the rain boot shape card.  The larger flowers image is from the Altenew's Handmade Tags clear stamp set.  The small yellow flower and dots are from Winnie & Walter's Hollie's Festive Florals clear stamp set.  The flower on the top is cut using Poppystamp's Marcelle Flower cutting die, the leaves are cut using Hero Arts' Scallop Frame Frame Cut.  And I paper pieced the cuff and bottom of the boot.
