Adventure Awaits

 Hello,

The World In Bloom Die Set from Altenew's August release really caught my eyes, and I am lucky my local stamp store already has it in the store.  So I got me a set and this is the first card I created with it.

The globe image from the Big World Stamp set is slightly smaller but with some distressing on the edge, it looks fine underneath the grid.

Thanks for coming over to my blog.  Have a sweet day!

New Year, New Planner on Die Cut Divas

 Happy New Year!!

May 2024 brings you lots laughter and happy crafty times!

It's a New Year, and I've created a page for a new planner using some Never Before Used Stuff!

Speaking of NBUS, that's the challenge theme of January's challenge on Die Cut Divas Challenge Blog.  There is no sponsor this month, however, Whimsy Stamp is generously donating a $15 gift voucher to their store for our challenge winner.

I will be using my planner page to keep track of my design team duties.

The publish dates are circled, and I shall write notes about my projects in the empty note sheet below the calendar grid.

I use a pattern paper as the base of the background, then I stenciled with embossing paste.

I also used a gold gel pen and added faux stitching and added lots of snowflakes (die cut using various paper).

I am linking up these challenges:

Christmas Card 2023-Mar-11

 Happy Saturday everyone!

I finally sat down and made my first Christmas card of the year.

I want to thank my craft friend Linda W. for introducing the cute Lawn Fawn set to me.  I simply stamped, colored with alcohol markers, die cut, and adhered on card base which was layered with patterned paper and double stitched die stamped with sentiment.

I am going to link to a few challenges:

(first time using stamp and dies used in this card)

Supplies:

Copic Markers
Memento Dye Ink (Tuxedo Black)

That's it for now.  Have a good day!

Mosaic Birthday on Die Cut Divas

 Happy Saturday everyone!

I am sharing a mosaic style card on Die Cut Divas Challenge blog today.  It took me a bit of time to put it together, but I was happy to use up some of the small pieces of scrap paper (I have a hard time parting with them so I have lots) in my stash.

I used Sunny Studio Quilted Hexagons Dies, and die cut a big bunch of these geographic tiles.  Then I glue them on a slimline scalloped frame while creating a mosaic look.  I didn't use any ruler or spacer, so at the end the tiles are not 100% aligned, but I like it.  It is less rigid and more vibrant.  The birthday banner is Brass heat embossed.

The challenge theme of March is Birthday on Die Cut Divas.  Sunny Studio is our sponsor.  I hope you'd join in the fun!  We could all use another birthday card, right?!  😀

Challenges:

Time Out Challenge #208 - 8th Birthday Special Challenge

(This is the first time I used the Quilted Hexagon Die)

Supplies:

Versamark Watermark Ink
Brass Embossing powder
