Stitched Graham Ornament on Die Cut Divas

Happy December everyone!!

Winter or Christmas Time is the challenge theme this month on Die Cut Divas.  And there are two sponsor for December's challenge, Morgan's Artworld and Cheapo Dies.

I stenciled a white card panel with Tumble Glass, then adhere die cut pine branches and heat embossed the sentiment, then adhere it to a white card base.  On separate white card stock I lay down several stripes of Washi paper then I die cut the stitched ornament.  Attached twine and bow and adhere to card front.  And embellished with Diamond Stickles and filled in the center of the ornament with Sprinkled Sugar Stickles.

Christmas Cards 2018-Oct-21

Hi,

I am so excited to share this card I made with some 'new to me' dies from Memory Box and Poppy Stamps.

Let's take a look:

I used pattern paper for the background.

I die cut the Curved Happy Holidays twice using white card stock, and I glued them together to make it thicker.  For the Peaceful Dear, I adhere some Stick It adhesive to white card stock, then I die cut it once right side up, and once wrong side up, so I have two dears facing each other.  I repeat with white card stock.  With the pieces that has Stick It, I peel off the release paper and sprinkle some clear glitter on it and then furbished, then I glue them to the plain one to give it more weight.

To assemble the card, I glued the pattern paper panel onto a white card base.  Next I added thin strip of foam adhesive near the top of the curved panel, and I applied glue to the bottom edge and adhere to the card front.  I wanted some dimension but didn't want to raise the whole panel.  :)  Next I glued the deers in place.  Finally I applies some Diamond Stickles onto the curved panel.

Golden Poinsettia

Happy Friday everybody,

Today I am playing along The Hear Desires Challenge #6.

I chose to use the sketch, the color red, and wood grain for my card.

The lovely poinsettia stamp I used is designed and made by a local stamp store owner.  Her store is called Bonnidee.  As a manner of fact, I took my very first card making class at her store.  Her designs are beautiful and she has lots of French stamps as well.  Check it out at her store.

Other supplies:

Hero Arts clear stamp: Vintage Christmas Post (I used one of the sentiment)
Memory Box cutting die:  Forest Pine Branch
clear embossing ink
gold embossing powder
Daniel Smith water color

Thanks for stopping by.  I wish you a lovely day.
