Mosaic Birthday on Die Cut Divas

 Happy Saturday everyone!

I am sharing a mosaic style card on Die Cut Divas Challenge blog today.  It took me a bit of time to put it together, but I was happy to use up some of the small pieces of scrap paper (I have a hard time parting with them so I have lots) in my stash.

I used Sunny Studio Quilted Hexagons Dies, and die cut a big bunch of these geographic tiles.  Then I glue them on a slimline scalloped frame while creating a mosaic look.  I didn't use any ruler or spacer, so at the end the tiles are not 100% aligned, but I like it.  It is less rigid and more vibrant.  The birthday banner is Brass heat embossed.

The challenge theme of March is Birthday on Die Cut Divas.  Sunny Studio is our sponsor.  I hope you'd join in the fun!  We could all use another birthday card, right?!  😀

Challenges:

Sweet Wishes on Die Cut Divas

 Hello there,

Die Cut Divas' March Challenge theme is: Birthday!

I made a mini slimline card.

Inside my card, I stamped "for your birthday".

My card features Sunny Studio's Heart Bouquet Stamp.  At first glance, I thought heart shaped balloons are good for Valentine, or wedding, or anniversary, but then I thought, it is really all occasion friendly.  So I used it!

Our sponsor this month is, yes you guessed it, Sunny Studio!

Do hop over to Die Cut Divas to see more inspiration projects, and I'll see you in the challenge gallery!

Supplies:

Copic Markers
White Gel Pen
Memento Tuxedo Dye Ink

Thanks for visiting me.  Have a sweet day!

Slimline Christmas on Die Cut Divas

Happy Friday everyone!

I am sharing a slimline Christmas card on Die Cut Divas today.  My card features Sunny Studio Slimline Scalloped Frame Die.

I glue the scalloped frame die on a dark chocolate color slimline card base, then adhere a pattern paper panel splattered with white and gold paint.

Then I added pine branches and cones, and splattered more paint.

For the sentiment, I heat embossed one die with glitter gold embossing powder and glue it slightly offset on another white die, so it looks more cohesive with the rest of the die cuts (which has a white border).

I really like how this one turned out.

Sweet Hello on Die Cut Divas

 Hello,

March is here!!  And today I share a very sweet card (at least I think it is) on Die Cut Divas Challenge Blog.  To kick off our March Challenge - Slimline card; I present to you...

Our sponsor this month is Sunny Studio Stamps and our challenge winner would receive a $15 gift card to their store.

For my card, I use Sunny Studio Breakfast Pun Clear Stamps set, and Slimline Scalloped Frame Die Set.  The donuts and coffee cups are colored in Copic Markers.  The stitched die panel in ink blended using homemade masks.  The paper bag was my own creation, and it is stamped with images from the Breakfast Pun stamp set.  The "hello" are inked with Vintage Photo on the bottom, and Kitsch Flamingo on the top and clear heat embossed.

I really enjoy making the fun scene, the donuts are jumping out from the bag to meet the coffee.  😀 I used to think that there are so much space on a slim line card, how am I going to fill it up?  As you can see here, I didn't have any problem at all, did I?!

I hope I've inspired you to join in the challenge.  Now hop over to Die Cut Divas, check out the DT's inspiration project.

Supplies:

Copic Markers
Ranger Distress Ink (Squeezed Lemonade, Wild Honey, Mustard Seed, Kitsch Flamingo, Vintage Photo)
Recollection Clear Embossing Powder
Memento Tuxedo Black Dye Ink
White Gel Pen
