2024 Spellbinders 12 Days of Stitchmas - Day 12

 Hello again,

It's the final day of my 12 days of Stitchmas projects reveal!  

I actually have a little Stitchmas withdrawel blues!!  😅  For the past 12 days, I open with door with anticipation, and was quite immersed in designing the cards, and going thru my stash of craft supplies trying to decide what to use with the Stitchmas goodies.  And now it's all done.  

But having that said, I am happy to have all the Stitchmas goodies in front of me, and I could create more with mixing them together.

I really like what's behind door #12.  Let's see the stitched card.  I die cut the sweet Cardinal in red card stock and stitched with gold floss.  It sits on the sentiment banner, and the background is 3D embossed, distressed and splattered with Fossilzed Amber Distress Spritz.

On the next card, I die cut on white cardstock and ink blended the bird with three shades of orange/red distress inks.  And I am happy with the outcome.  It's on some branches against a 3D embossed and partially gold heat embossed background.

2024 Spellbinders 12 Days of Stitchmas - Day 11

 Hi, welcome back!

It's time to share my Day 11 cards of 2024 Spellbinders 12 Days of Stitchmas.

Just like the previous 10 days, I made a card with stitches and one without.  The first one with stitches I made a slimline card, it's perfect to fit three wreaths.

The second one, without stitches, I embellished with sequins (from 2022 Spellbinders Advent Calendar - Day 22).  This card is a mini one, 4 1/4 x 4 1/4.  I applied a very light coat of Wilted Violet Distress Spritz in the background, and lined the card edge with Altenew Sweet Pea Palette Washi Tape in a very carefree manner, I winged the 45 degree angle connection at the corners.  LOL

2024 Spellbinders 12 Days of Stitchmas - Day 10

I am sharing my Day 10 card for 2024 Spellbinders 12 Days of Stitchmas. 

My first card showing the stitched die, very plain and simple.

The second one using the die without the stitches proved to be just as fun.  I used holographic paper and depends on the angle, the ornaments looks so different!

Background paper for both cards from the Spellbinders 6x6 Nutcracker Ballet Paper Pad.

2024 Spellbinders 12 Days of Stitchmas - Day 8

 Hello,

Welcome back!  I am really enjoying 2024 Spellbinders 12 Days of Stitchmas Kit.  Today I share my Day 8 projects.

Here's my stitched card.

I've added from last year's (2023) stitchmas Day 6 (the bow), and one of the dies from Day 1 of this year's stitchmas kit and made it into the kite shape ornaments.  The hooks of the kite shape ornament is actually the tree topper die from Day 1, I just punched a 1/8 inch hole in the middle.

For my second card, which is the non-stitiched one, I decide today I use the die in the background instead.  I just die cut the background panel randomly with the stitching die of Day 8.

2024 Spellbinders 12 Days of Stitchmas - Day 7

 Hi,

Hope you're all doing well.  I am back sharing Day 7 projects created using 2024 Spellbinders 12 Days of Stitchmas Kit.

I have not given up on my own challenge of using the die 2 ways, stitched and plain.  Here's the stitched card.

As soon as I open the door and saw Day 8's die is "Warm wished", I immediately thought of the sweater die (Day 11) from  last year's (2023) Stitchmas kit.  And I decide I have to use it along with the new die, so I dry-embossed the background panel with it.

Here's a close-up:

The second card I chose a richer and warmer palette. I used a couple of die from 2022 Spellbinder Advent Calendar (Day 1 - letter mail, Day 12 - bird), and 2023 Spellbinders 12 Days of Stitchmas (Day 2 - holly and berries) along side the this year's Day 7 Stitchmas dies.

 I am back sharing my 2024 Spellbinders 12 Days of Stitchmas Day 4 projects.

On this first card I CASEd Kim Kesti's card on her Day 3 post on Spellbinders' blog.  I stitched Santa's bread with Red Ruby Metallic thread. 

The next card, I didn't stitch, I use red and white felt for Santa's hat and bread.

2024 Spellbinders 12 Days of Stitchmas - Day 3

Happy Saturday!!

I am sharing my Day 3 creations using 2024 Spellbinders 12 Days of Stitchmas Kit.  

Day 3's door reveal a fun set of "ho ho ho" dies.

My first card is a slim line card featuring the stitched dies.  The background is dry embossed using Elizabeth Craft Designs (1882) Slimline Background 1, and is slightly splattered with Spiced Marmalade Distress Spritz.

The second one I used the non-stitch dies.

I am having so much fun with the stitchmas kit!  Off to create more.

I am back with day 2 projects created with 2024 Spellbinders 12 Days of Stitchmas kit.

I created two cards, one with stitches and one without.

This first one stitched with gold thread.  And the tree is ink blended.

The second one is not stitched, and the tree is covered with Distress Spritz.

2024 Spellbinders 12 Days of Stitchmas - Day 1

 Hi,

I am so excited to share my projects created using 2024 Spellbinders 12 Days of Stitchmas Kit.  I open one a day according the schedule of the Stitchmas classes (Day 1 was on August 28th).  

Here's my first card for day , I paired it with Spellbinders Bottle Brush Trees Die set.

I also am challenging myself to use the die without stitching, card #2 for Day 1.  The sentiment from the Spellbinders Make It Merry Sentiment Die set.
