Creations Scrapbook Centrale Creative Team Project 2025-Feb-21

 Hello,

I have some birthday cake cards to share today.  They're also my Creative Team project for Creations Scrapbook Centrale fb group.  Our challenge theme this month is Valentine's Day, color option: Red.

My first project is a cake shape card, a Red Velvet cake.

Yum!!  Red Velvet layered cake with Dark Chocolate Ganache, topped with Strawberry and Raspberry Macarons!!  Now if only I could get a real one and eat it too.  LOL

I had so much fun making this card, I went ahead and made three more cards for some people who'd be celebrating their milestone birthdays later this year.

What cake would this be?  How about Chocolate Moose & Coconut Cream.

And I will name this one Maple cake with Cappuccino glaze.

And this one could be Mocha cake with French Vanilla & Dark Chocolate cream, topped with Saltwater Taffy Macaron.

I don't know about you, but I am making myself hungry for some cake!  😋

Here's photo of the products I used for my cards
(minus the sentiment on first card, it is from Sunny Studio Party Pets):

Thanks so much for stopping by today, have a sweet one!

Creations Scrapbook Centrale Creative Team Project 2025-Feb-11

 Hi,

I am back with another Valentine's Day theme card, this is my mid-month inspiration project for the Creations Scrapbook Centrale fb group.

One of the techniques (or ways to stretch my dies) is to dry embossed with my cutting dies.  It adds interests without the extra layers.  On this card I dry embossed a heart shape on the watering can, and a frame on the background.  Simply layer the die on paper then on a silicon mat and sandwich properly for you die cut machine and pass it thru.

Here's photos of the supplies used:

Creations Scrapbook Centrale Creative Team Project 2025-Jan-31

 Hi,

As I say Good-bye to January, I am already making a head start on my holiday card stash.  With beautiful products, it's easy to make a good looking card.

I only used two three main products plus two type of card stocks to make my card.

I dry embossed a silver foiled card stock, and used my finger to rub some metallic gold ink on selected areas.  After it's dried, it is adhered to a white card base.

The I die cut the sentiment, used white card stock for the base layer, old gold metallic card stock for the detail layer.  Glued them together, and adhered to card front with foam tape.

Et voila!

Here's a photo of the embossing folder, die set, and paint I used for my card.

So happy you've stopped by, have a fabulous day!!

Creations Scrapbook Centrale Creative Team Project 2025-Jan-21

 Hi,

I am back sharing some Gold/Silver colored projects, created for the Creations Scrapbook Centrale fb group.

Gold/Silver is the color option of this month's challenge.  Here I created two CAS cards.

I die cut the focal element in both gold and silver foiled card stock.  I glued the outline die cuts onto a white card base.  Then carefully glue the inside pieces in the opposite colored outline.

I gold heat embossed the small tag, and attached to card with metallic thread bow.

Now perhaps, you're wondering what happens to the gold and silver panel I die cut from.  No, I didn't let it go to waste, I create two bonus card with them.

I first created a colorful background using a baby wipe and ink spray.  I lay down a baby wipe on my craft sheet, applied ink sprays, spritzed with a bit of water, then scrunch the baby wipe a little.  Next I place white card stock over and imprint.

Then I glue the gold and silver panel over these colored panels, and inlaid a black die back into the die cut panel.

These cards could be used for multiple occasions, so I left them as is, and will write a personal message inside when I use them.

Here's photos of the other supplies used for my cards.

Thanks for visiting me today.  Have a great one!

Creations Scrapbook Centrale Creative Team Project 2025-Jan-11

 Hello there,

I am back with another team project for the Creations Scrapbook Centrale fb group.  This month's challenge is Celestial Wonder.  And I created this shadow box/pop up card.

I chose a piece of pattern paper that looks like the galaxy for the background (Craft Consortium Ink Drops - Monochorme 12 x 12 paper pad).

I glued the die cut moon, and some stars onto the background and glued it to the back of the pop-up frame.

Then I die cut cloud frames in white card stock and ink blended.  Then I attached the panels to a pop-up frame (see this video of Jennifer McGuire for the know how).  Besides adapting it to portrait orientation, I also used foam adhesive at the top layer to add extra dimension.

To create the floating star affects, I used strips of acetate to attach them.

Here's photos of the die, stamp, and inks I used from my card:

Happy 2025

 Happy New Year!!

I am starting the new year with a new card!  For Creations Scrapbook Centrale FB group challenge: Celestial Wonders, with color options: Gold/Silver.

I went with the color Gold for my card.

I used 2022 Spellbinders Advent Calendar Day 7's Layering Stencil to create a soft boken background.  The sentiment is gold heat embossed.  The year is die cut with white stock twice and gold foiled card stock once and glue together.

Simple and classic!

And I didn't have to use a lot of products.  Here's a photo:

Have a wonderful beginning to a brand new year!  May it be all that you wanted it to be.

Creations Scrapbook Centrale Creative Team Project 2024-Dec-12

Hello there,

Christmas is less then two weeks away, I bet you're busy preparing for the holiday season.  How do you decorate your house beside putting up a tree?  I personally do the minimal, we decorate a tall plant instead of purchasing a new tree every year, and put up greeting cards we receive.  And this year, I decorated a DIY sled to hang on the wall.

I followed the Creations Scrapbook Centrale FB group challenge theme this month, Winter/Christmas (Noel) and the optional colors: Blue/Gold.

I first painted the pieces of the sled in white, then added some rice paper, applied some crackle paste, distress the edges, partially stenciled with ink, and added rub-ons.  After everything is nice and dried, I assembled the sled.

Then I die cut a bunch of flowers and foliage, inked and distressed in pale brown, and various blues and cold greens.  The pine cones are die cut from a piece of black card stock sprayed with distress spritz.  All these are arranged and glued onto a circle panel on the body of the sled.

For the top part, I tied a pull string.  And added a wavy banner with gold heat embossed "NOEL" adorned with small leaves.

The supplies I used to decorate the sled are shown in photos below.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day!

Creations Scrapbook Centrale Creative Team Project 2024-Nov-22

 Hi,

With our digital phone so handy nowadays, we hardly use our pen and paper anymore.  But lately I've encountered several occasions where I need to write something on paper and I scramble to find a piece of paper.

So I decided to make a small matchbook note pad to keep in my purse/bag, along with a pen of course!  That's the project I am sharing today.

I started with a piece of 12 x 4 inches patterned paper (from the Graphic 45 Let's Get Artsy collection), I scored at 1 inch, 1 1/8 inch, 6 1/2 inch, 6 3/4 inch.  Fold and crease to form the match book.  Next I used 3 piece of standard letter size printing paper and trimmed them into 12 sheets of 5 x 4 inches paper, stacked them up, place inside the matchbook, and stapled on the bottom.

I decorated with flap with sticker and paper panel (from the same collection).

And there you have it.  With beautiful paper, it's easy to make something pretty and practical!

Products used for my project:

Graphic 45 Let's Get Artsy Paper Collection
stapler
score board
paper glue

Thanks for coming over to my blog, have a fabulous day!

Creations Scrapbook Centrale Creative Team Project 2024-Nov-12

 Hello,

I am back sharing a series of cards made with the challenge theme of: Hobbies for Creations Scrapbook Centrale fb group page.

One of my new found hobbies is Cross Stitch.  Okay I admit, I don't really do it for any other reason, except for card making and scrapbooking.  LOL

I used Lawn Fawn Embroidery Hood Die Set.  The Cozy Cocoa pattern I downloaded from Lawn Fawn Embroidery Hoop Pattern page.  The snowflake pattern I created myself.

The two sentiment heat embossed in white is from Hero Arts Coffee Cup Tag Stamp Set, and Hero Arts Color Layering Nordic Trees Stamp Set.

Background pattern paper and stitched label die both from Lawn Fawn.

Apart from stamps and die used shown in photos below, other supplies not photographed are: Versamark Watermark Ink, White Embossing Powder, embroidery floss, and sequins.

Thanks for visiting me today.  Have a sweet day!

Creations Scrapbook Centrale Creative Team project 2024-Nov-02

 Hi,

It's time for me to share my Creations Scrapbook Centrale fb group page project.  Like most months of this year, I share my planner page as the first project of each month for this group.  Our challenge theme for November is: Hobbies, option of color: Ping/Grey.

This page came together easily, the beautiful Graphic 45 pattern paper Let's Get Artsy did it all!
I hand cut three brushes from a sheet of Alexandra Renke design paper, colored the brush tips with alcohol markers, and add them next to the calendar elements. The butterflies and sentiment are all hand cut from the Let's Get Artsy paper pack.

I also stamped the large butterfly in grey to distress the calendar element.

Thanks for coming over to my blog.  Have a sweet day!
