Hello everybody,
It's the first of the month, and there is a new challenge on a2z. August challenge theme is Anything Goes.
My project truly fit the theme, hehehe, because my card can be used for multiple occasions - Anything Goes? Wink! I haven't decide what to use it for yet, I could use it for a milestone celebration, a scrapbook layout, a mini book cover, even a wedding card. In the inside I could put something like " ... the year you walked down the ile", or "... a year to remember", or " ... you celebrated your ...". Oh wait, and if I change the numbers to 2019, it can be a New Year card too.
To make my background, I ink up the Leaf and Floral Background with two ombre ink pad and stamp on white card stock. Next I die cut the numbers, layering a piece of foam underneath so the two pieces aligns with each other. Then I glue acetate, then the foam, filled with clear seed beads, and glue a dark red card stock over that. Then I adhere it to a white card base. Lastly I glued on the twines with glossy accent.
Come on over to a2z scrapbooking and check what my team mates created for you, make your own Anything Goes project and link up to the challenge.
Supplies:
Hero Arts Leaf and Floral Background Cling Stamp
Hero Arts Ombre Ink (Pink to Red, Butter to Orange)
Foam
Twines
Clear seed beads
Thanks for stopping by. I wish you a sweet day!
