Hi everyone,
I am sharing a non-card project on a2z Scrapbooking today.
In the past couple years I was using planners and had a lot of fun decorating them. But this year I am trying something new, I got a Dylusions Creative Journal, and I am making it a planner/diary/art journal all rolled into one!! :)
Today I am sharing the January planner page. I first stamped the circles and drew the lines, these would be my planner entries or reflection/diary entry. Noticed I didn't put any numbers for the day, I want it to be flexible and only add it when I'd write into it.
Next I created a mask using the Hero Arts Holiday Greenery Edge Die, I used both the negative and positive pieces and applied a light coat of ink for the pages' edge. Then I stamped the rest of the elements in various inks and added some small details on the butterflies and letters with black and white markers.
My inspiration word for these pages is Hope, therefore 'hopeful 2019'. I die cut the Classic Numbers using foam and used them to stamp the year.
January's challenge theme at a2z is Anything Goes. Check out the details and join in the fun.

such pretty planner pages, Cindy - the soft colors are perfect!
I really like your idea of a combined book. I may just use that myself. So nicely decorated and that is part of the fun is decorating it.
What a pretty page, Cindy! It definitely inspires some writing! I really like the freedom of no numbers too! :o)
Beautiful result Cindy, what a lovely idea and so inspiring. CarolG
