Hero Arts Holiday Greenery Edge Frame on a2z

Happy 1st of December!!

Just 25 more days until Christmas and I am sharing an inspiration project for a2z Scrapbooking Supplie's December challenge - Winter/Christmas.

I used only cutting dies for my card and no stamping.  How fun is that?!

Like many crafters out there I'd like to stretch my supplies and find different ways to use them.  On today's project instead of using the Hero Art Holiday Greenery Edge Die for an edge or border, I decided to make a frame with it.

I die cut the Holidiay Greenery using green pattern paper once right side up, and another time right side down.  So I would have two symmetrical pieces.  I lined each up on my cutting mat, cut apart at midpoint (the die itself is 5.5 inch so midpoint is at 2 3/4 inch), and cut each end at 45 degree.

I cut a red card stock into a 5 1/4 inch square panel and adhere onto a white card base (same dimension).  I cut a 2 3/4 inch square panel and glue the frame pieces onto it.  "NOEL" is die cut with gold foil card stock, adhered onto a vellum strip, and this is sandwiched in between the frame panel and a stitched scallop square frame.  The whole frame panel is glue to card base as shown.

Thanks for stopping by.  I wish you a sweet day!

I'm so impressed that you created this beautiful card with die cuts! I love your design and how you placed your sentiment on vellum! Such a lovely Christmas card, Cindy!
