Hero Arts Autumn Trio

Hi everyone,

Happy Labour Day (to those who celebrates it in North America)!!  Ha the grocery stores are closed today so that's my excuse to stay home and craft!!  LOL  Okay may be I will take a walk with hubby later on, the weather is nice, we could both use some fresh air!

Enough of blah.  I like to share a trio of card, tag and envelope I stamp on Saturday during the Hero Arts Flickr Group scramble challenge.  It's a challenge where we have 90 minutes to create, photo and upload our project(s) make using theme provided by our hostess.  Saturday's challenge was hosted by Kim (you could see her photo stream here).  The theme she gave us was to create a Gift Set Trio (card, tag, and decorated envelope) of any holiday/theme.

So I went with Fall birthday.

For the card and tag, I stamped the leaves with Unicorn ink and then heat embossed with white EP on white CS.  Next I press some distress ink (Barn Door, Ripe Persimmon, Crushed Olive, Squeezed Lemonade, Wild Honey) onto a craft sheet and spritzed with Perfect Pearl solution.  Next I pressed the card stock onto the craft sheet and let it soak up the colors and heat set with heat gun.  Next I ink up the stamp using the color mixture on the craft sheet and stamp right onto the envelope.  Sentiments are stamped with Tuxedo Black, I heat embossed the birthday greetings with clear EP.

The mornings and evening are cooler now, and I already see some leaves changing colors.  Is Autumn on your mind like it is on mine?  :)  The stamp set I used is from earlier Hero Arts release, but you there is a very nice Color Layering stamp and frame cut set available at the a2z Scrapbooking Supplies store for your Fall holiday projects.  Take a look, use code Cindy15 at check out to get 15% off any purchases $25 or more (excluding shipping).

The a2z Scrapbooking store was founded to aid charities (Camp Gluten Freedom for kids with Celiac, and to help end Behcet’s Disease) and is run by volunteers so that your purchase can give the most money to charity.

That's all for today.  I wish you a lovely day!!

your set is so pretty in those colors - have to do some revising on my set today - love autumn except it's supposed to be quite hot again here this week.

Wonderful inky colours Cindy. Love how the detail in the white embossing pops against the colourful background.
