Day 15 of Kathy's 30 Day Colour Challenge

Welcome back,

Yesterday I thought I would start over and redo my potted flower since I made a "boo boo", forgot to mask one the leaf before stamping the pot.  But after looking at Kathy's beautiful bouquet earlier, I've decided to continue with it, I will make the pot a glass pot!  Right?  Why didn't I think of that?!  :D

Anyway, here's it is.  Haven't decide what sentiment to use, so I'll leave it until I need it.  Most likely a birthday!!

I hand draw some stems and stamp some leaves and pebbles inside the pot  glass container,  Add some Broken China to give the hint of water.  I paper piece a surface for the container to sit on, why did I paper piece it?  To cover up yet another result that didn't turned out!  LOL

I will link up to Kathy Racoosin's 2nd 30 Day Colour Challenge.

Now I'd like to share a little tip.  This is useful especially for the small stamps,  After I finished using the pieces for masking, I keep them in an envelope, you know those 3 5/8 by 6 inch envelope that requires extra postage because they are not the "standard" size, they are perfect for this purpose. I label the envelope with the stamp set name and keep it with my stamp set.  So the next time I need it for masking I don't have to cut new ones and they are right there with my stamps.

Stamps used:

Hero Arts Garden Flowers by Lia
Hero Arts Stamp Your Own Succulents
Hero Arts Ombre Ink Pink to Red
Hero Arts Mid-tone Shadow ink (Wet Cement)
Ranger Distress ink (Peeled Paint, Crushed Olive, Wild Honey, Barn Door, Broken China)

All the four Hero Arts products I used are available at the a2z Scrapbooking Supplies store.  Should you decide to purchase something there, feel free to use my promo code Cindy15 to get 15% off any purchase 25$ and up before shipping.  Click the Shop a2z Scrapbooking Supplies Store button located at the right sidebar, it will bring you there directly.

It's half way thru June, have you play the June challenge at a2z?  The theme is New Beginning; New Baby, Wedding, Graduation, New home, New Job..etc.  You could win a 25$ gift card to the store!  So see you there?  ;)

Thanks for stopping by,  I wish you a lovely day!

Great save by making the bowl out of glass! It really had the look of water and I love the pebbles at the bottom! Thanks for the masking tip too!

Interesting cards. I haven't seen the ombre inks. I think I will have to do a search for them. Keep smiling and creating.
