There's a snow storm outside today!! It's a winter wonderland (as long as I don't have to drive around)!! And I want capture a snowflake in a vial and keep it forever!! Yes we all know that's not possible, so I did the next best thing, I put a snowflake that would never melt inside.
I made a vial ornament. I upcycled a vial used to store sprinkles for cakes and cookies, as seen here:
I stamped the Small Snowflake (from Hero Arts Stamp It: Winter series) with Cotton White StazOn on the outside of the vial. And in the inside I placed some beads at the bottom; and used fishing line to attach the snowflake brad (two back to back to form one) coated with Pearl Acrylic paint and adhered blue beads using glossy accent. The fishing line is attached to the cap so the snowflake is suspended inside the vial.
