I am back sharing an Asian style New Year card on Lunar New Year Challenge today.
The white panel in the background was first dry embossed with Altenew Hellebore Haven 3D Embossing Folder, I then applied Pinkfresh Studio Passion Fruit Dye Ink with an inking tool. Next I gold heat embossed the sentiment from Mama Elephant Red Envelope Clear stamp set using WOW Metallic Gold Rich embossing powder.
The Spellbinders Fan & Bow Die set was used for my focal point. It was die cut with Spellbinders Pomegranate card stock, Harmony Hue kraft card stock and gold foiled card stock. The word "blessing" in Chinese was gold heat embossed, and I splattered it with Hero Arts Glimmer Metallic Gold Ink.
The assembled fan is adhered with foam tape to the background panel, which is attached to a red card base.
