Hello there,
It's already March, and Spring is coming!! And that's the challenge theme on Die Cut Divas this month. When I think of Spring, several flowers come to mind, and the first one is the Daffodil.
I first ink blended the background (a watercolor paper panel), then I spritzed water on the diamond pattern stamp and stamped on the panel in multiple areas in multiple passes. I have to say I love how the background turned out.
The focal point, the Daffodil flowers are stamped in black and watercolored. The sentiment is stamped in Uncharted Mariner, and die cut.
My card features the Smile Today stamp and die bundle from our sponsor this month, Gina K. Designs. They are generously giving a $25 gift card as the challenge prize.
Although the stamp and die bundle I used may be retired, there are plenty beautiful stamps and die that speaks Spring at Gina K. Designs, such as Spring Clusters, Vintage Spring, Spring Friends, etc. Do go over to Gina K. Designs' website to check it out.
Supplies:
Gina K. Designs Smile Today stamp & die bundle
Ranger Distress Ink (Peeled Paint, Uncharted Mariner)
Ranger Archival Ink (Jet Black)
Altenew Watercolor 36 Pan Set
Thanks for coming over to my blog. Have a beautiful day!
