Red Love Trio

Happy February!!

Valentine's Day is just around the corner, and a2z's February challenge theme is Any Shade of Reds.

For my card I used three shades of red card stock for my die cuts, Brick, Crimson, and Garnet.  For a quick reference of the various shades of red, check this link.

On a pattern paper, I used a doily as mask and sponged Barn Door over it to create the white doily pattern.  I die cut "Love" twice on each shade of red card stocks.  Glue each pair of die cuts together and adhere to pattern paper panel.  Stamp circle with heart with Red Royal, adhere panel onto Crimson card base.

Join in our challenge and you could win a $25 gift card to the a2z store.  Stop by the a2z blog and see what my team mates created for you.

Remember to use my code Cindy15 to obtain 15% off any purchases $25 of over (excluding shipping).  If you don't see the supplies I use in the store feel free to request a custom order, button located on the left side bar.

Supplies:

Hero Arts Stamp and Cut - Love
Hero Arts Mid-tone Shadow Ink - Red Royal
Ranger Distress Ink - Barn Door

Thanks for visiting.  Have a very lovely day!

I never thought about red having different shades, but you've showcased that beautifully on this card, Cindy! Your doily really makes the die cuts pop on this card, too...Very pretty Valentine's Day card!
