Way back in February I've post about a Match Box Gift Holder decorated with a Orchid flower cut using the Hero Arts Orchid Cutting Set by Lia. I had so much fun, I've made a few more.
Also one of my blogging friends asked which template I used. Well, the answer is I've made my own and finally managed to put it in a file and share with you.
Here's the template. Just right click to save to your computer using the "Save image as.." command. Remember to make sure it fits a full sheet of 8.5 x 11 inch sheet of paper when you print it.
The smaller one is the drawer, it measures 3 7/8 x 5 1/2 inches.
Cut cover piece, score on all lines and make valley fold except the side for the inside flap.
Cut drawer piece, score on all lines and make valley fold.
Glue the corner piece to form drawer. Note that if you want to use brad or button as pull out handle, adhere to the front panel (side without the flap) before forming the drawer.
Glue the back of the cover.
Place the drawer inside the cover, making sure the flap is at the backside.
Close cover making sure the flaps are on the outside and glue. This way when the drawer is pull out, the top flap catches the drawer flap, and the drawer won't fall out.
Decorate with Orchid flower and other embellishments of your choice.
The template is meant for personal use only. Please DO NOT use it for commercial redistribution or resale of the original file and pattern. If you want to share it, please link back to this (my original post).
