Les Beaux Arbres

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - A is for...

so I went with "A" is for Arbres (French word for tree).  I hope it's okay.  :)

I coloured these trees using a watercolour effects by mixing distress ink with Perfect Pearl solution.  You could see the shimmer here and there, and I love how they turned out.  However I keep thinking I could add more to the card but don't want to make it too cluttered, so I left it.

I am also submitting it to the Simon Says Stamp flickr Group pool Challenge #16 - Water Colouring.

ETA (April 14th): Arlene encouraged me to enter this to the Die Cut Diva's April Challenge - In the garden.

Supplies:
Cutting die: SSS (Woodland Tree)
Stamp: Inkadinkado
Ink: Ranger Distress (Wild Honey, Barn Door, Peeled Paint, Crushed Olive, Squeezed Lemonade, Old Paper, Milled Lavender, Chipped Sapphire, Broken China), Memento (Tuxedo Black)
Other: Ranger Perfect Pearl

Thanks for stopping by, I wish you a lovely day!!

What a sweet Spring card, Cindy! Love the soft colors. And, this is a reality check - I used to speak French almost fluently, but have all but forgotten it. I need a trip!!! Thanks for sharing.

Your trees are beautiful and I love the grass and the rest of the background. Such a sweet bird and house too; who wouldn't want to live in one of those trees?!

You should enter this card into the Die Cut Divas too.
